Theatre Under The Stars Giveaway

Theatre Under the Stars presents Shrek: The Musical 
One of my favourite things about July & August in Vancouver is that the weather finally stays mostly dry & there are a tonne of outdoor events to enjoy. Stanley Park--did you know it was recently voted the world's best park?!?--offers a slew of events, including Theatre Under the Stars. If you haven't been, it's a really fun night out (literally). This year, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is presenting Shrek: The Musical from July 11 to August 22, 2014. The production takes place at the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park.

Like the movie, the musical theatre adaptation promises to be a larger-than-life adventure for the whole family! Join Shrek & his loyal steed, Donkey, as they set off on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona. Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad, a gang of fairytale misfits plus Stanley Park's serene beauty, & you've got the must-see musical comedy of the summer!

Legally Blonde: The Musical, back by popular demand, runs on alternate evenings as part of the TUTS 2014 season. Tickets range from $20 to $45. For more information: tuts.ca

    I want to go to the Shrek Musical with my 3 year old - it will be his first time! And I love Donkey!!!

    I want to go with my girlfriends....we all really need a night out away from our kids! We could even have a nice dinner beforehand at The Fish House...

    TUTS is a must-see for anyone who calls themselves a Vancouverite! Did you know it's been going since the 20s? (I think.)

    I loved all the Shrek movies and would love to see a live production of it! I would take my sons and my husband to see it!

    I would love to be able to take my stepson to this. he's only here for the summer. we see him for such a short period of time each year i like to pack in as much family fun as possible!

    Would love to experience an outdoor show with my nephews, they are huge Shrek fans! I'm sure they would have a magical experience! Cheers!
