Experience outer space with the Zero Gravity ride, be spun around on the open-air cars of the Ring of Fire, and be flung into oblivion on the Super Shot! Popular favorites such as 1001 nights, The Ferris Wheel and the Zipper are all part of the carnival in 2014, not to mention the classic Carousel. as well as the Haunted House.
PlayDome is ideal for kids aged two and up (under two they're not allowed to ride, so they get free admission). The height minimum for many rides is just 36", so even your average two-and-a-half-year-old can participate. Don't let that make you think it's just for little ones, however, as there are plenty of gut-scrambling, flip-you-upside-down rides for the older kids.
PlayDome is open 10:30am-9pm daily March 15 to 22, then 10:30am-6pm Sunday, March 23rd and costs $29 single-day Dome Pass, $49 for unlimited, $6 for guests. If you're a BCAA member, show your membership card and you'll get $10 off the price of Dome or Ultimate Passes - a great way for the whole family to enjoy this annual event!

ReplyDeleteMy parents used to drop us off at Canada's Wonderland every day of the summer with our seasons passes and a lunch. It was like camp but with way more freedom and a lot more upside down!
ReplyDeleteGoing to DisneyWorld as a kid was tons of fun!

ReplyDeleteGoing to Disneyland when I was five and the only thing I seem to remember is getting sick on the tea cups and being scared out of my wits by the shark @ Universal Studios! Ahhh, memories!
ReplyDeleteI loved going to PNE as a child. The first time i went. The rainbow and pirate, while scary were my fave rides!

ReplyDeleteThe Ferris wheel at the PNE with my boyfriend!
ReplyDeleteMy kids ask us every day when Playland will be open - a day at the Playdome would be the perfect way to spend a day as a family during Spring break. A great amusement park memory would be taking my children on the kids roller coaster for the first time - the horrified looks on their faces were priceless!
ReplyDeleteThe first time my daughter went on the big roller coaster (California Screamin') at Disney's California Adventure park - she was just tall enough at age 6, and she loved it!! She went on it 4 times, asking for the front row each time. Loved seeing how much fun she had!!
ReplyDeleteBest memory would probably be Disneyland when I was 12. We had a great time!
ReplyDeleteGoing down the big roller coasters with my mom and dad :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband took our son back when he was 3 and I had a baby at home. Our son LOVED it and went back last year and has been asking when it is coming back to Vancouver. SO excited that it is coming very soon. Would love to win!
