Candy Cane Land! |
There's clearly some keeping up with the Joneses here. :) |
Cycling past all the Christmas lights makes the ride... well... kinda magical. I slow down a bit as I ride through quiet residential streets, looking at the higgledy-piggledy LED strings draped over hedges, wound around railings. Dozens of extension cords hooking up lit plastic candy canes, inflatable snowmen & flashing stars.
It seems like the quieter the street, the more lights there are. You miss that when driving in a car along the arterial roads.
*I wish I had better photos to share with you, but I usually only have my phone camera on me. You'll just have to go out for a ride yourself!
Oh & by the way, it's almost that time... Merry Christmas, to everyone who celebrates it! For those of you who celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, the solstice or any other holiday around this time, I hope you had/are having/will have a great one!
