As some of you might know, over the last few years, I've made a lot of baby stuff & sold some of it at local craft markets in Vancouver. Once I got busier with writing, school & oh, you know,
parenting, I realized something had to give. Also, I hardly made any money off the stuff I was sewing & selling. So I stopped. I let my Etsy listings die off & didn't go to any more markets or baby fairs. I still love making stuff for babies & little kids, but I'd rather continue it on an occasional basis for gifts & when I have time.

However, despite quitting the baby gear hawking biz, it hasn't quit me: I still have a small heap of merchandise sitting around, mostly bandanna bibs. I don't want to just toss them, not just because of the money & time invested, but because I think they're useful. If you don't know what I mean by bandanna bibs, here are a few photos.

Sprout at a year old |
Bandanna bibs are cotton on top with synthetic fleece underneath & a single snap closure at the back. The bibs absorb some of the teething drool without getting your little one's shirt all sopping wet. They also add a cowpoke/hipster flair to any outfit! & now that autumn seems to be here, one of these bibs can be handy for adding a little extra warmth on a chilly day. So I thought I'd do a giveaway or five. (Yes, five.)
I'm giving away five of my bandanna bibs to five of my lovely readers here on The Sprog.

Lots of colours! |
Here's the deal: you can enter the contest via Rafflecopter in the widget below. It'll tell you about your options for entering--you'll have a few & can do one of them daily until the contest closes, to get extra entries. :) I'm going to limit it to Canadian & American residents only, as I don't want to be on the hook for a mint in shipping costs. I'm kinda hoping a lot of you will be in the Lower Mainland here, so I can hand-deliver them if you win... In a week I'll pick five winners, each of whom will get to pick out one bandanna bib. There are lots of colours to choose from, but it'll be first come, first served when it comes to the responses to the contest. I'll email you to let you know & get your colour preferences.
Um, I think that should do it for fine print, but if you think of any questions, please let me know & I'll clarify. :) Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI happen to have a sizable pile of stained drool bibs as I've been blessed with two of the world's cutest, drooliest babies... would be swell to have a pristine one! Plus I could really use a bib for Bennett Ford that goes with his collegiate cowboy name!
ReplyDeleteMy kids. Although we are out of the drool stage, they are not out of the spill everything on us stage but wont wear bibs. These are styling enough that I could convince them to wear them.
