Monday we rode over to Trout Lake for the BC Fed Labour Day picnic. Round trip is only about 20 minutes.
Tuesday I walked down to the library to return one of Sprout's books. About 30 minutes of walking.
Wednesday we biked downtown & ran a couple of errands. 40 minutes of cycling.
Thursday I didn't even leave the house. No exercise whatsoever.
Friday was a bikey one: I biked Sprout downtown to try some bacon-y goodness from Pig on the Street, my friends' awesome food truck. If you're achin' for bacon, they're parked next to the art gallery on Howe lunch time on weekdays or you can find them at the Waldorf's Food Cart Fest Sundays until the end of September. For dinner, we biked up to 44th & Fraser, where JJ's Trucketeria was the launch of the 'Hot Tubs' seating area. Unfortunately they were sold out, so we had to settle for a big bag of our favourite samosas from Dhaliwal Sweets instead. Total riding time was about 70 minutes.
Saturday we all biked over to Kitsilano to look at bikes at Ride On, then Different Bikes. So far, the only shop that seems to have what I want (or will order it, anyway) is Mighty Riders. 35 minutes riding.
Weekly Total: 245 minutes. Averaging out to 35 minutes a day--yay!
