Making stuff at Kidsfest! |
(UPDATE: Just to clarify, the passes are just entry into the festival--not for the featured performances)
To enter the contest, you'll need to do three things before Friday, May 18th at noon (Pacific time):
- Visit the Children's Festival website activities page & look around.
- Leave a comment on this post telling me which activity you'd like to do most at the Vancouver International Children's Festival this year.
- Give me some contact info in your comment--either your email address, phone number, twitter handle or blog address--just some way of allowing me to contact you. If we're already connected on Twitter, Facebook or in real life, you can skip this step :).
On May 18th, I'll use a random number generator to choose one of the comments on this post & then contact the winner. You'll be able to claim your prize at the box office at Kidsfest.
Good luck!
Well, Jack and I would most like to hang out with you and Sprouty at Kidsfest and... Enjoy maritime fun with interactive games and the rockin’ tunes of singer-songwriter Chris Hamilton.
ReplyDeleteSince Sean's from the Maritime s and we had to cancel our trip to Halifax for the same week that Kidsfest is going on, what an awesome way to connect with his roots! :)
Thanks for sharing, Debbie! This post will count for your second entry. :)
DeleteI think the kids would enjoy the face painting and bicycle spin art the most.

Kutapira and Will Stroet both look good! Have a feeling we would be hanging out in the baby/toddler tent too! I have never been to the festival myself (even as a kid) to it would be great to check out.

Really looking forward to the Children's Festival with Oscar this year. I want to take him to some of the shows - maybe Pete the Cat (jammie version), or Kutapira, or Will Stroet. The version of little red riding hood on the Aquabus sounds fun too. So much to choose from!
ReplyDeletePlanning to bike over and check things out on Friday during Keira's Arts Umbrella class, then bike again on Sunday to hopefully hit Will Stroet's show, the Bike Spin art (we missed out last year), the lantern-making and perhaps learn some mad circus skillz if we still have the energy! Big picnic lunch, and then pick up fresh oysters and a nice bottle of white for mommy and daddy to share when the party moves home! Will FB this on my personal page AND my company page for the extra!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Callie! This post will count for your second entry. :)
DeleteHey there. Nice blog! I just bought tickets for Pete the Cat - they are selling out so fast, so we already have access to 3 activity zones with those! I love facepainting with my daughter, so that and Chris Hamilton singing sound great. Anyway, not too worried about getting tickets, as we're sorted! :) But I shared your contest on my twitter feed @Tiffany_tweets, as it's all good! I will return. :)
ReplyDeleteWe would like to see Will Streut, ZooZoo, Itch of the Golden Nit, and Pete the Cat. S + H. slavka.bohac@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteWell I like a mystery so I think I would want take Aiden to the Variety show and see what's what. But it all looks pretty awesome so we would have to check it all out.
