I had a bit of a skip day on Thursday, no 'real' exercise to speak of, just a very short walk to & from the nearest park.
Today I did better with a brisk babywearing walk to a friend's, then a brisk baby-in-a-wagon hauling walk uphill back home. (Thanks Kirsten for the long-term wagon loan!) Round trip totalled 30 minutes.
Speaking of babywearing, it's something I've purposely been doing more of lately. Rather than pushing the stroller, which is physically quite easy, I've been loading Sprout up in the Beco for shorter walks. I really feel the difference having the extra 27 (ish) pounds on my back & it's easy to get my heart rate up with a brisk walk that way. Also, it's quite easy to get him in there--I put the Beco around my waist, he runs over, hops onto my back, then I flip the straps up onto my shoulders.
Weekly total: 170 minutes. If I can squeeze in 40 minutes tomorrow, I'll be on track to make my goal!
