Yesterday turned into that rest day I kept talking about. All three of us had a stellar afternoon nap. Absolutely no exercise was had. For me, this was partly due to feeling the monthly day-of-tired-&-crampy & partly due to a muscle spasm in my mid-back. Spent a lot of the day tied to a heating pad. Happy to report that both afflictions are improved today.
Exercise resumed with a bike ride to the Trout Lake Farmers Market, which is 24 minutes, round trip. The market was a lot less busy in the afternoon, so we let Sprout walk around on his own quite a bit. (Read: chased Sprout around people's legs, in between market stalls & up truck ramps)
I'm gradually starting to feel stronger & not gearing down as much on the hills when I'm riding with Sprout. My quads are starting to get a little more definition too.
Weekly total: juuuust over the goal at 214 minutes. :D
