No more pencils, no more books... |
Today is my last exam of the semester, possibly my last for a long time. This course turned out to be my favourite class this term: The Science of Speech, taught by Murray Munro. It was a fairly general survey course going over topics like first language acquisition, anatomy of the vocal tract, forensic phonetics, accent & second language acquisition, transcription using the IPA, acoustics, human evolution & more.
I've gotten grades back already for my other two classes--a B in Phonology & an A- in Neurolinguistics--which I'm happy with. I'm hoping to snag an A in this last one. Wish me luck on the exam!
