Ekorre Rocking Moose
How does it work?
Once you've spent a half hour assembling the flat-packed 15-piece (plus hardware) moose with the provided allen key & your phillips screwdriver, it rocks.
Why is it good?
I fell for the design--I love red & the moose is a nice twist on the traditional horse design. It's also a nice height, taller than some rocking horses I've seen, so it'll theoretically last a kid longer. At 16 months, Sprout was barely able to throw a leg over though, so unless your kid is tall, they'd require help to use it at a younger age. It's quite sturdy & the black plastic pieces under the ends of the rockers limit it so the child can't go too crazy riding it.
Where can I get it?
Ikea, in case you hadn't figured out by the Swedish name (though oddly, Google Translate tells me ekorre means squirrel).
How much does it cost?
$45
*I didn't get any compensation for writing this review, just like the toy.
